It has come to the attention of the Rolla City Council and Law Enforcement that there has been a rise in the number of animals at large in the City Limits.
Under Ordinance Numbers, 250-4 Dog Collar Required, 280 Dog at Large with No License, 328-4 No person shall abandon animals. Law Enforcement will issue Citations to owners of these animals at large going forward. The minimum fee is $5.00 and up depending on the number of offenses.
If you are a resident of Rolla City and observe any of these Ordinances being violated, please go to City Hall during business hours to make a formal complaint.
We will need to know the name and location of the Owner before a complaint can be made, and an Officer will then contact the Owner of the animal and issue a citation, if warranted.
For all calls of service, please contact the Rolette County Law Enforcement Center at 701-477-5623. No action can be taken or report can be made without a record through dispatch.
